Who Am I? And Why Am I Here?

I am the IRL Support Main, The Chosen Cuddler, The Cuddler of Destiny, Childlike Empress of Cuddletopia. It is my honor and sacred duty, my life’s mission, to bring cuddles to all. This is my destiny in my epic quest of love and healing. I’m here to support you to be your best!

This project is a vulnerable expression of my own wants and needs as a member of both of these communities (cuddle therapy and gamer nerd), who wants to see these two communities overlap even just a little bit more than they already do and see people come together to each others’ benefit, to lift each other up and make each other stronger, as someone who was a nerd long before I became a gamer, and as someone with multiple chronic illnesses that necessitate my current all-consuming epic quest for healing and inspire and motivate my assuming the new identity of The IRL Support Main.

Even before starting my work in cuddle therapy and connection coaching, since back in college in fact, I had a heart for gamer nerds and understanding their world, though I still saw myself as being an outsider. In the past 4 years or so, since meeting my boyfriend who is a gamer and Japanese culture/anime nerd, I have slowly become a part of this community through getting into these things first in connecting with him and then beyond that for myself as I developed my own interest in and love of these things. So, as I got more into the professional cuddling community and the gaming community I was realizing more and more how socially isolated gamers can tend to be compared to the general population, how needed these services and experiences that are offered in connection with the cuddle therapy community are for this demographic in particular. 

Then I also got an extra push by seeing how much more isolated and touch deprived everyone has been in this pandemic and realizing that these two communities would never be powerfully connected unless someone stepped up and took actions to create that. And I realized that I want to be that person. So, here I am!
